Your John 8:44 reference is spot on. Recall that Jesus tells this to the Jews only a few verses after they say Abraham is their father, and Jesus says Abraham is not their father.
Abraham is genetically their father, but their error is in thinking that their blood will save them. This is the error of the dispensationalists, too. Our Lord says "no one comes to the Father except through me." It is the spiritual children of Abraham, those who follow his example of faith and therefore trust in Christ for their salvation, who will be saved. His children by blood may be faithful or may not. The Spirit gives life; the flesh availeth nothing.

As an Anglican, I share your deep concern over the widespread influence of Dispensational theology and its troubling implications—both doctrinally and pastorally. The idea that God has two distinct plans—one for the Jews and one for the Church—not only disrupts the unity of Scripture, but also undermines the centrality of Christ as the fulfillment of the covenant promises.
The early Church Fathers, the Reformers, and the broader historic tradition have always affirmed that the Church is the continuation—not the replacement—of Israel, united in Christ, who is Himself the true Israel. While we must absolutely condemn any and all antisemitism, we must also avoid the modern temptation to sacralize a secular state or confuse geopolitical loyalty with faithfulness to the Gospel.
I would gently add that while clarity is needed in confronting theological error, we are also called to charity—especially in how we speak of those outside the faith and those within other Christian traditions. May we all strive to speak the truth in love, and pray for the peace of Jerusalem: not merely in geopolitical terms, but in the hope that all may come to know the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ our Lord.
John 5:43, states, "I have come in my Father's name, and you do not receive me; but if another comes in his own name, him you will receive". Catholics have to do the will of GOD which is only possible by staying inside the Catholic Church. Canonizations are not Apostolic. Down to the seventeenth century Clement of Alexandria was falsely venerated as a saint. His name was to be found in the martyrologies, and his feast fell on the fourth of December. But when the Roman Martyrology was revised by Pope Clement VIII his name was dropped from the calendar on the advice of Cardinal Baronius. 4. Do you say that Doubtful Sacraments can be received? [Leaving aside the fact that an apparation cannot give holy communion. If a stranger appears in a forest claiming that he has Holy Communion to administer that is a "DOUBTFULL SACRAMENT". First of all the false seers could not know for certain if the apparation was an Angel or not]
5. Do you say that GOD can command sin? [If one says no then by default one cannot accept the false heretical fatima apparations]
Pope Pius V (from the Roman Catechism with His Papal Decree) teaching Divine Revelation to the Universal Church - Angels cannot give Holy Communion and Pope Pius IX (DOGMA Vatican I) teaching a Divinely Revealed Truth, binding the Universal Church - An Angel has no authority from GOD to change the laws of the Church in force. GOD has willed that the Sacraments which includes Holy Communion should be adminsitered in His Church by men and NOT BY ANGELS.

A. Knowingly to transgress a law of the Church in grave matter is a mortal sin.
Q. Who can dispense from a law of the Church?

GOD has given the authority to His Church to make laws only and only to enforce His Divine Law for His greater glory and the salvation of souls. The laws of the Church are Divine Laws in Praxis. They are not two different things. They cannot be separated. That is why also on the other side if anything that is put out by the one holding the authority of the Church which is contrary to Divine Law is by default null and void as it is obviously no Law and cannot be commanded. This does not apply for the false heretical fatima apparations.

I happened to have come across your essay after seeing it referenced in a substack. You raised a number of issues that cannot be adequately addressed in a reply or comment but I would like to address at least a few for consideration. Such deliberation goes as far back as Aristotle (ethics, morals) and keenly taught (virtues) by St. Thomas Aquinas.
You made your statement in the beginning that your article is focused on “Dispensationalism and the Jewish State of Israel.” You spoke of protestant heretical thought in modern day examples of events in a time of war, but they come from social media, something I stopped in 2019. The left and right hatred and rage about everything it seems was too much for me, not to mention I found that ordinary conversation was becoming no longer viable in today’s culture.
For the record, I am not guided by any theology of dispensationalism or Scofield bible which I have never read. But I do have an understanding of Israel and the Jews that is balanced and in accord with fidelity to the Bible and to the Church. The balance comes in right understanding of Romans 11 (or even chapters 9-11), Nostra Aetate (proclaimed by Pope Paul VI in 1965), and “The Gifts And The Calling of God Are Irrevocable,” also from the Dicastery For Promoting Christian Unity (2015). Please read them as they give the proper understanding of the Jews and Israel.
You quoted Pope Pius X who in 1904 apparently said “The Jews have not recognized our Lord; therefore we cannot recognize the Jewish people.” With all due respect to the Pontiff, these words are entirely anti-Semitic. Here’s why. In biblical times when speaking of the Jews in the Gospels it was understood that it was the Jewish Leaders and not a sweep of the Jewish people. No different than when people today speak of Iran, we are speaking of the Iranian regime only and not an entire sweep of the Iranian people.
In today’s war against Hamas, it is evil that is the enemy. Not the Palestinian people. Unfortunately, Hamas has learned to embed itself among civilians, under schools, hospitals, near playgrounds, beneath UNRWA facilities, etc.. Isis did as well when American and coalition forces fought in Mosul, Iraq. Remember that? We too had to go door-to-door to eradicate evil and bomb places that harbored Isis which is by anyone’s standards, evil. Unfortunately civilians got killed in the process. In today’s Israeli war against Hamas, it is not Israel that is evil, it is evil itself that is evil by stealing human beings (kidnappings) and not returning them among other atrocities of direct slaughter, mutilation, and horrendous things beyond description.
In war, errors do happen. You can see it in the photo’s of World War II and subsequent wars. The Catholic Church building in Gaza was not intentionally hit by Israel. The proof of this is that it is still standing. We all have nothing but sorrow for the people in the church building who were killed and injured. But blame evil. Put the fundamental and ultimate blame where it belongs. It is not what you perceive.
I can not go point by point with you for the sake of brevity, not to mention I am writing off the top of my head for the moment and not as an essay, but I would like to mention one more thing because it is still fresh in my memory. The second reading from the Liturgy of the Hours yesterday was a reading from St. Augustine, quoting from his “Confessions.” The entire reading is well worth reading but he said, “I shall meditate on the wonders of your law.” I make this point if only to make the case that the Old Testament is still relevant for law and wisdom, and, I might add, great prophecies about Israel some of which are yet to come. Modern day Israel is a wonder and fulfillment of OT prophecy that speaks (spiritually) that God is still the King of Israel, just as He was in Biblical times.
For the record, I have lived life for well over half a century, living in real-time, modern day history especially of Israel. I can vouch that post-modern perceived history of Israel is not the same as factual history.
Finally, it would be best to leave the Jews and Israel alone for we do not know the mind of God.

Romans 11 does not teach that the Jews remain God’s chosen people apart from Christ. Aquinas and the Church Fathers consistently interpreted that passage as referring to a future conversion, not a continued covenantal status. The Jews are currently “broken off” from the olive tree, which is the Church.
Nostra Aetate is a pastoral declaration, not doctrinal or dogmatic. Its ambiguous phrasing must be read in continuity with the Church’s prior, authoritative teaching—not against it. The tradition is clear: the Old Covenant is fulfilled in Christ and no longer saves.
The 2015 document The Gifts and the Calling of God Are Irrevocable frankly contradicts previous teaching. Its wording is poor, ambiguous, and theologically muddled. It promotes a vision of Jewish-Catholic relations that cannot be reconciled with the dogmatic clarity of Florence, Trent, or the Roman Catechism.
To call Pope St. Pius X’s statement to Herzl “anti-Semitic” is unjust and theologically confused. He made a doctrinal point: the Jews, in rejecting Christ, cannot be affirmed in any salvific covenant. Anti-Semitism refers to racial hatred, not the assertion that Christ is the only way to salvation. You cannot dismiss a canonized pope and saint simply because he stated Catholic truth.
Your distinction between Jewish leaders and the Jewish people is inadequate. The Church Fathers viewed Israel’s rejection of Christ as a corporate act. This isn’t about blaming every individual Jew, but recognizing the spiritual rupture brought about by the nation's rejection of the Messiah.
Likewise, your analogy between governments and civilian populations fails to grasp the theological issue. We are not solely talking about modern political representation; we are speaking of covenantal rejection and fidelity.
Your treatment of Israel’s actions in Gaza betrays a serious misunderstanding of moral philosophy. Moral evil is not an abstraction—it is always rooted in the act of a moral agent. To say “evil is evil, not Israel” is to evade responsibility. If Israel struck a Catholic church and killed innocent Christians, that act must be judged by the nature of the deed, the intention, and the circumstances. Without clear evidence to absolve intent, the act remains gravely wrong.
You also contradict yourself: you admit Israel acted, then try to assign blame to “evil” in the abstract. Evil isn’t a disembodied force; it is carried out by persons or institutions. You cannot condemn the consequence and exonerate the cause.
Your view of the Old Testament and “Israel” reflects a misunderstanding of Catholic theology. Yes, the Old Testament remains part of Revelation. But the Church—not modern ethnic Israel—is now the true Israel. The Jews, in rejecting Christ, rejected the covenant and no longer know God.
Finally, to say “we do not know the mind of God” is to deny the very purpose of Revelation. The whole point of the Incarnation, the Scriptures, and the Church is that God has made His mind known. We do know the mind of God, it is called Divine Revelation, and the Magisterium of the Church. If you reject this premise then you cannot even begin to believe the Catholic Faith. PAX

Thank you for your reply Matthias. You are correct that “Romans 11 does not teach that the Jews remain God’s chosen people, apart from Christ.” But I never said that it did. That is given in the Abrahamic Covenant (Genesis 12, 15, 17, and others) which is implicit in the Nostra Aetate and explicit in the 2015 document The Gifts And The Calling Of God are Irrevocable. I understand that these two documents are from the Dicastery and not the magisterium. I almost said so originally. I also understand that often we must interpret some positions based on prior understanding. But often enough, understanding can and does change over time, and new understandings cannot be dismissed simply as ambiguous or simply contradictory. Therefore, the simple reading of each document from the religious of the church is plain enough for me as they do indeed comport with scripture. In this regard I’m afraid that you and me will need to respectfully disagree.
The root of the olive tree of Romans 11 is so clearly Abrahamic and of Jewish Patriarchal origin that I cannot understand how it is interpreted any other way- and also apparently so by the religious Dicastery of both referenced papers.
The church’s stand that it is now the true Israel is well known by its theology of supersessionism (replacement theology). But anecdotally, I’ll never forget that for many years i.e., the 1950’s and especially the 1960’s when I was older, there was general talk among family, friends, etc about what the church is going to say about the re-emergence of Israel in 1948. I can tell you, back then, it was a big deal. We were all waiting to hear from the church what this means or if the church is going to have to change its stance. It is in this background that Nostra Aetate came out which many thought would bring the answer. But as you know, this was not addressed. But there was a softening of position regarding the Jewish people (understanding of course, such softening didn’t mean something salvific had taken place).
Second, I didn’t think this had to be said by me so I’ll be very clear here. There is no salvation for anyone outside of the Lord Jesus Christ. I didn’t say the Jews are now being saved. Their importance lies in the irrevocable calling of God regarding the Jewish people and the land. Their salvation will come in the future according to scripture and the papers already referenced.
I spoke of governments and civilian populations and the current Israel War against evil only because you brought it up when you referenced the shelling of the catholic church in Gaza. While your assertion is correct i.e., the proximate cause of the shelling was caused by Israel; the balanced view of the shelling is to recognize the substantive fact that it wouldn’t have happened at all if Hamas hadn’t started the war, and continues the war because it won’t give up the dead bodies and live Israeli’s that they are currently holding.
Your discussion of the theological and moral issues are interesting and I respect it. But it doesn’t change anything about what I just said.
Finally, when I said we do not know the mind of God it was said in the spirit of Romans 11:34. It is also in the spirit of understanding from the Apocalypse of St. John that Israel is going to have an important part in the economy of God in the latter days. God is going to do something special for the Jews but we do not know exactly what, other than to say that something salvific is going to take place i.e., they will come to belief in Christ.
Please understand I’m not at all saying in any way, shape or form anything having to do with worshipping Jews or Israel.

Trad Inc. exists catering to about a maximum of about 5% of all Roman Catholics; one guesses, that the here denominated hypermarginalized suspects do constitute about 0.5% of Catholics, as the despised dissidents or "refuseniks," in a classic David v. Goliath battle. The only thing as to a "weapon" is Catholic Truth, the properly orthodox dogmas, doctrines, and teachings that do rightly uphold the Holy Catholic Faith, in its adamant support of the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM).
Trad Inc., however, has set up its own pseudo-Vatican-style officialdom, as to its Establishment nature, for being the self-assigned gate keepers for the TLM, Catholic right-think, and all that gets their haughtily expected and, if the full truth be told, demanded approval. They, ironically, have now, basically, become what they had overtly claimed to have righteously opposed. Of course, e. g., Kennedy Hall has, publicly, denied even the very existence of a Trad Inc. O! The only genuine and theologically legitimate Catholic unity is in being fully united for, through, and by the defense of the Faith.
Although relatively few are with the HMS, however, e. g., Bishop St. Athanasius of Alexandria was also extremely outnumbered, especially by the hierarchy, though for some centuries thereafter Athanasianism became a synonym for Catholicism.
The latter term, by the way, is supposed to be a mere synonym for theological and religious orthodoxy of Christian belief, of the universality of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Faith, which firmly supports Holy Mother Church, as rightly guided by the Holy Spirit. In any event, the greatly scorned new and true Remnant will, so definitely, carry on this requisite and holy fight -- for the greater glory of God.

In passing, I’ll also say that your offhanded dismissal of Kennedy Hall is both unfair and uncharitable. Kennedy is a faithful Catholic, a father, a serious writer, and a public defender of tradition who has taken real risks to speak truth. You may disagree with his tone or conclusions — but to scoff at his mere denial of a vague label like “Trad Inc.” adds nothing of substance to your argument.

Are there Catholics who actually believe this, though? Someone recently explained Dispensationalism to me, and I'd never heard of it until then. I also learned about people thinking the Second Coming already happened in the first century AD, which was very bizarre to me.
Like in all times throughout history there are many Catholics who are ignorant of certain areas of the Church's teaching -often times due to the laxity of their pastors. This may be exacerbated by the current crisis in the Church, wherein most churchmen seem to be teaching against the perennial magisterium. Whatever the case Catholics today as in all times must hold to the orthodox faith.
I mean it's perfectly clear that we aren't supposed to belittle and dismiss our brothers, or the least among us, and seeing how much behavior and verses must twist clearly shows that they are not acting in the Holy Spirit (gal 5:22-23). Jesus himself gave us that single standard to point out wolves. May the babylon bee, and that terrible preacher you quoted, repent. Have your own beliefs, but don't pretend your position is Christian if you need to gut the nt to save the ot in a reverse German Christian event. At the very least, don't make every accusation about Israel be true (to Christians, if it bothers them that much(since it obviously does and they'd burn 500 churches before allowing "radical islam" to have one school near them)).
Jesus: and then you will learn the rest of everything during the Enlightenment where I'll be properly regarded as a moral teacher for rational state-building. After that, you'll get the modern nation-state which is the form in which you'll now refer to humans.

We know that it is the 1st century Jewish leaders who cursed and rejected Christ, the cornerstone. We know that conversion to Christianity was wildly successful as per the Book of Acts and violently suppressed by Jewish leaders in Jerusalem.
Because of this initial violent rejection of the Jewish messiah, an anti-Jesus/anti-Catholic bias has nearly been instilled into every forthcoming Jewish generation.

Your John 8:44 reference is spot on. Recall that Jesus tells this to the Jews only a few verses after they say Abraham is their father, and Jesus says Abraham is not their father.
Abraham is genetically their father, but their error is in thinking that their blood will save them. This is the error of the dispensationalists, too. Our Lord says "no one comes to the Father except through me." It is the spiritual children of Abraham, those who follow his example of faith and therefore trust in Christ for their salvation, who will be saved. His children by blood may be faithful or may not. The Spirit gives life; the flesh availeth nothing.
Well written and I must say, writing from experience, very tiresome to us who are laboring on the internet to fill the void left by priests who are poorly taught. That is to say, our priests aren't teaching the Gospel re Jewish-Catholic history. I'm trying, too.

Thank you for this courageous and thought-provoking post. As an Anglican, I share your deep concern over the widespread influence of Dispensational theology and its troubling implications—both doctrinally and pastorally. The idea that God has two distinct plans—one for the Jews and one for the Church—not only disrupts the unity of Scripture, but also undermines the centrality of Christ as the fulfillment of the covenant promises.
The early Church Fathers, the Reformers, and the broader historic tradition have always affirmed that the Church is the continuation—not the replacement—of Israel, united in Christ, who is Himself the true Israel. While we must absolutely condemn any and all antisemitism, we must also avoid the modern temptation to sacralize a secular state or confuse geopolitical loyalty with faithfulness to the Gospel.
I would gently add that while clarity is needed in confronting theological error, we are also called to charity—especially in how we speak of those outside the faith and those within other Christian traditions. May we all strive to speak the truth in love, and pray for the peace of Jerusalem: not merely in geopolitical terms, but in the hope that all may come to know the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Catholic Church is exactly where she has always been though in a very bad condition in these end times. Catholics have to do the will of GOD which is only possible by staying inside the Catholic Church. It is a sin of grave matter to partake in the sacrileges, blasphemies heresies, rampant child abuse and cover ups and other evils that have been and are rampantly going on in the legal structures of the Catholic Church. His name was to be found in the martyrologies, and his feast fell on the fourth of December. But when the Roman Martyrology was revised by Pope Clement VIII his name was dropped from the calendar on the advice of Cardinal Baronius. Pope Benedict XIV maintained this decision of his predecessor on the grounds that Clement’s life was little known that he had never obtained public cultus in the Church, and that some of his doctrines were, if not erroneous, at least suspect. The only place a Pope can never err (which is only in the office of teaching) is when he 1) solemnly binds the universal Church under pain of anathema 2) with a doctrine on faith or morals contained in the already closed unchangeable Deposit of Faith (Divine Revelation). GOD has given the authority to His Church to make laws only and only to enforce His Divine Law for His greater glory and the salvation of souls. The laws of the Church are Divine Laws in Praxis. They are not two different things. They cannot be separated. That is why also on the other side if anything that is put out by the one holding the authority of the Church which is contrary to Divine Law is by default null and void as it is obviously no Law and cannot be commanded. This does not apply for the false heretical fatima apparations.

I happened to have come across your essay after seeing it referenced in a substack. You raised a number of issues that cannot be adequately addressed in a reply or comment but I would like to address at least a few for consideration. Such deliberation goes as far back as Aristotle (ethics, morals) and keenly taught (virtues) by St. Thomas Aquinas.
You made your statement in the beginning that your article is focused on “Dispensationalism and the Jewish State of Israel.” You spoke of protestant heretical thought in modern day examples of events in a time of war, but they come from social media, something I stopped in 2019. The left and right hatred and rage about everything it seems was too much for me, not to mention I found that ordinary conversation was becoming no longer viable in today’s culture.
For the record, I am not guided by any theology of dispensationalism or Scofield bible which I have never read. But I do have an understanding of Israel and the Jews that is balanced and in accord with fidelity to the Bible and to the Church. The balance comes in right understanding of Romans 11 (or even chapters 9-11), Nostra Aetate (proclaimed by Pope Paul VI in 1965), and “The Gifts And The Calling of God Are Irrevocable,” also from the Dicastery For Promoting Christian Unity (2015). Please read them as they give the proper understanding of the Jews and Israel.
You quoted Pope Pius X who in 1904 apparently said “The Jews have not recognized our Lord; therefore we cannot recognize the Jewish people.” With all due respect to the Pontiff, these words are entirely anti-Semitic. Here’s why. In biblical times when speaking of the Jews in the Gospels it was understood that it was the Jewish Leaders and not a sweep of the Jewish people. No different than when people today speak of Iran, we are speaking of the Iranian regime only and not an entire sweep of the Iranian people.
In today’s war against Hamas, it is evil that is the enemy. Not the Palestinian people. Unfortunately, Hamas has learned to embed itself among civilians, under schools, hospitals, near playgrounds, beneath UNRWA facilities, etc.. Isis did as well when American and coalition forces fought in Mosul, Iraq. Remember that? We too had to go door-to-door to eradicate evil and bomb places that harbored Isis which is by anyone’s standards, evil. Unfortunately civilians got killed in the process. In today’s Israeli war against Hamas, it is not Israel that is evil, it is evil itself that is evil by stealing human beings (kidnappings) and not returning them among other atrocities of direct slaughter, mutilation, and horrendous things beyond description.
In war, errors do happen. You can see it in the photo’s of World War II and subsequent wars. The Catholic Church building in Gaza was not intentionally hit by Israel. The proof of this is that it is still standing. We all have nothing but sorrow for the people in the church building who were killed and injured. But blame evil. Put the fundamental and ultimate blame where it belongs. It is not what you perceive.
I can not go point by point with you for the sake of brevity, not to mention I am writing off the top of my head for the moment and not as an essay, but I would like to mention one more thing because it is still fresh in my memory. The second reading from the Liturgy of the Hours yesterday was a reading from St. Augustine, quoting from his “Confessions.” The entire reading is well worth reading but he said, “I shall meditate on the wonders of your law.” I make this point if only to make the case that the Old Testament is still relevant for law and wisdom, and, I might add, great prophecies about Israel some of which are yet to come. Modern day Israel is a wonder and fulfillment of OT prophecy that speaks (spiritually) that God is still the King of Israel, just as He was in Biblical times.
For the record, I have lived life for well over half a century, living in real-time, modern day history especially of Israel. I can vouch that post-modern perceived history of Israel is not the same as factual history.
Finally, it would be best to leave the Jews and Israel alone for we do not know the mind of God.

Romans 11 does not teach that the Jews remain God’s chosen people apart from Christ. Aquinas and the Church Fathers consistently interpreted that passage as referring to a future conversion, not a continued covenantal status. The Jews are currently “broken off” from the olive tree, which is the Church.
Nostra Aetate is a pastoral declaration, not doctrinal or dogmatic. Its ambiguous phrasing must be read in continuity with the Church’s prior, authoritative teaching—not against it. The tradition is clear: the Old Covenant is fulfilled in Christ and no longer saves.
The 2015 document The Gifts and the Calling of God Are Irrevocable frankly contradicts previous teaching. Its wording is poor, ambiguous, and theologically muddled. It promotes a vision of Jewish-Catholic relations that cannot be reconciled with the dogmatic clarity of Florence, Trent, or the Roman Catechism.
To call Pope St. Pius X’s statement to Herzl “anti-Semitic” is unjust and theologically confused. He made a doctrinal point: the Jews, in rejecting Christ, cannot be affirmed in any salvific covenant. Anti-Semitism refers to racial hatred, not the assertion that Christ is the only way to salvation. You cannot dismiss a canonized pope and saint simply because he stated Catholic truth.

To say “evil is evil, not Israel” is to evade responsibility. If Israel struck a Catholic church and killed innocent Christians, that act must be judged by the nature of the deed, the intention, and the circumstances. Without clear evidence to absolve intent, the act remains gravely wrong.
You also contradict yourself: you admit Israel acted, then try to assign blame to “evil” in the abstract. Evil isn’t a disembodied force; it is carried out by persons or institutions. You cannot condemn the consequence and exonerate the cause.

Thank you for your reply Matthias. You are correct that “Romans 11 does not teach that the Jews remain God’s chosen people, apart from Christ.” But I never said that it did. That is given in the Abrahamic Covenant (Genesis 12, 15, 17, and others) which is implicit in the Nostra Aetate and explicit in the 2015 document The Gifts And The Calling Of God are Irrevocable. I understand that these two documents are from the Dicastery and not the magisterium. I almost said so originally. I also understand that often we must interpret some positions based on prior understanding. But often enough, understanding can and does change over time, and new understandings cannot be dismissed simply as ambiguous or simply contradictory. Therefore, the simple reading of each document from the religious of the church is plain enough for me as they do indeed comport with scripture. In this regard I’m afraid that you and me will need to respectfully disagree.
The root of the olive tree of Romans 11 is so clearly Abrahamic and of Jewish Patriarchal origin that I cannot understand how it is interpreted any other way- and also apparently so by the religious Dicastery of both referenced papers.
The church’s stand that it is now the true Israel is well known by its theology of supersessionism (replacement theology). But anecdotally, I’ll never forget that for many years i.e., the 1950’s and especially the 1960’s when I was older, there was general talk among family, friends, etc about what the church is going to say about the re-emergence of Israel in 1948. I can tell you, back then, it was a big deal. We were all waiting to hear from the church what this means or if the church is going to have to change its stance. It is in this background that Nostra Aetate came out which many thought would bring the answer. But as you know, this was not addressed. But there was a softening of position regarding the Jewish people (understanding of course, such softening didn’t mean something salvific had taken place).
Second, I didn’t think this had to be said by me so I’ll be very clear here. There is no salvation for anyone outside of the Lord Jesus Christ. I didn’t say the Jews are now being saved. Their importance lies in the irrevocable calling of God regarding the Jewish people and the land. Their salvation will come in the future according to scripture and the papers already referenced.
I spoke of governments and civilian populations and the current Israel War against evil only because you brought it up when you referenced the shelling of the catholic church in Gaza. While your assertion is correct i.e., the proximate cause of the shelling was caused by Israel; the balanced view of the shelling is to recognize the substantive fact that it wouldn’t have happened at all if Hamas hadn’t started the war, and continues the war because it won’t give up the dead bodies and live Israeli’s that they are currently holding.
Your discussion of the theological and moral issues are interesting and I respect it. But it doesn’t change anything about what I just said.
Finally, when I said we do not know the mind of God it was said in the spirit of Romans 11:34. It is also in the spirit of understanding from the Apocalypse of St. John that Israel is going to have an important part in the economy of God in the latter days. God is going to do something special for the Jews but we do not know exactly what, other than to say that something salvific is going to take place i.e., they will come to belief in Christ.

The only thing as to a "weapon" is Catholic Truth, the properly orthodox dogmas, doctrines, and teachings that do rightly uphold the Holy Catholic Faith, in its adamant support of the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM).
Trad Inc., however, has set up its own pseudo-Vatican-style officialdom, as to its Establishment nature, for being the self-assigned gate keepers for the TLM, Catholic right-think, and all that gets their haughtily expected and, if the full truth be told, demanded approval. They, ironically, have now, basically, become what they had overtly claimed to have righteously opposed. Of course, e. g., Kennedy Hall has, publicly, denied even the very existence of a Trad Inc. O! How precious!
And, meanwhile (back at the ranch), e. g., Anthony Stine has (sadly) pleaded what appears to be the pathetic fallacy, as in, "if only the Czar," Hitler, Stalin, etc. knew, meaning as to Pope Leo XIV's activities and (disgusting) inclnations. Where's the real and core problem concerning this unneeded mess?
What is needed is NOT Trad Inc.'s excessive stress upon Unity; instead, the pursuit and defense of Catholic Truth is ever the verily most important matter to illuminate, discuss, and propound endlessly, against the vile heresies of the current Modernist occupant of the Chair of St. Peter and his allied snide supporters. Is it impossible not to clearly and easily perceive the rather heavy linkages between the Deepchurch and Deepstate, by which the manifestly demonic interests of the terrible Globalist-Fascist-Capitalist parasitic elites are, thus, forwarded toward fuition?
Is it not so fairly discernable that Synodalism and Freemasonry, moreover, do match their very coordinated desires for the continued militantly aggressive secularization of the sociocultural and socioeconomic order? Must all the quite righteous and needed opposition to all that amassed concentrated evil be blithely dropped, just because Francis is not the present object of denunciation?
The truly hypermarginalized suspects (HMS), the new Remnant, are not ignorantly blinded by the overtly vainglorious aspirations of Trad Inc. to totally control the Catholic traditionalist movement and support for the TLM. Adherents of the HMS sagaciously refuse to absurdly hold to the (Stalinist) party line forced into existence by Trad Inc. and its, of course, numerous dedicated true believers. The only genuine and theologically legitimate Catholic unity is in being fully united for, through, and by the defense of the Faith.
Although relatively few are with the HMS, however, e. g., Bishop St. Athanasius of Alexandria was also extremely outnumbered, especially by the hierarchy, though for some centuries thereafter Athanasianism became a synonym for Catholicism.
The latter term, by the way, is supposed to be a mere synonym for theological and religious orthodoxy of Christian belief, of the universality of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Faith, which firmly supports Holy Mother Church, as rightly guided by the Holy Spirit. In any event, the greatly scorned new and true Remnant will, so definitely, carry on this requisite and holy fight -- for the greater glory of God.

Thank you for your comment, though I must admit I’m at a loss as to why it was posted on an essay about Dispensationalism and the Jewish State. Your response reads more like a sweeping manifesto against “Trad Inc.” than an engagement with the actual content of the article.
In passing, I’ll also say that your offhanded dismissal of Kennedy Hall is both unfair and uncharitable. Kennedy is a faithful Catholic, a father, a serious writer, and a public defender of tradition who has taken real risks to speak truth. You may disagree with his tone or conclusions — but to scoff at his mere denial of a vague label like “Trad Inc.” adds nothing of substance to your argument.
If you have a specific argument or critique related to the topic at hand, I’d be glad to respond. Otherwise, I wish you well in your broader commentary.

Are there Catholics who actually believe this, though? Someone recently explained Dispensationalism to me, and I'd never heard of it until then. I also learned about people thinking the Second Coming already happened in the first century AD, which was very bizarre to me.
Like in all times throughout history there are many Catholics who are ignorant of certain areas of the Church's teaching -often times due to the laxity of their pastors. This may be exacerbated by the current crisis in the Church, wherein most churchmen seem to be teaching against the perennial magisterium. Whatever the case Catholics today as in all times must hold to the orthodox faith.
I mean it's perfectly clear that we aren't supposed to belittle and dismiss our brothers, or the least among us, and seeing how much behavior and verses must twist clearly shows that they are not acting in the Holy Spirit (gal 5:22-23). Jesus himself gave us that single standard to point out wolves. May the babylon bee, and that terrible preacher you quoted, repent. Have your own beliefs, but don't pretend your position is Christian if you need to gut the nt to save the ot in a reverse German Christian event. At the very least, don't make every accusation about Israel be true (to Christians, if it bothers them that much(since it obviously does and they'd burn 500 churches before allowing "radical islam" to have one school near them)).
Jesus: and then you will learn the rest of everything during the Enlightenment where I'll be properly regarded as a moral teacher for rational state-building. After that, you'll get the modern nation-state which is the form in which you'll now refer to humans.
Edit: everything between that? Heresy and idolatry. BTW, if your brothers are in a nation-state then they are not your actual brothers, but crypto brothers who can certainly receive any pain imaginable.
